Prices

The price of a translation will depend on the level of difficulty of the text, on the time available for the translation and on the target language. We shall base our calculation on the number of standard lines of the translated text.

A standard line (Euro line) consists of 50 strokes. The strokes of the translated text will be counted by computer (strokes including blanks).

For translations of less than 30 standard lines, we shall charge a minimum fee of € 32.00. The price of a certification is € 7.00.

The price of certifications required on each page of a document is € 3.50 per page. All prices exclusive of legal VAT (at present 19 %).

Target language

Translations from and into less common languages (such as Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese, Japanese, Singhalese, Thai and the like) are more expensive than those from and into more common languages (such as English, French, Italian, Spanish etc.).

Time

We shall discuss the term of delivery with you, doing our best to take your wishes into account. As a rule, we deliver our translations quickly and try to avoid any express surcharges.

In case of an urgent order, however, that has to be completed within one day or requires working overnight and/or over the weekend, we shall charge an express surcharge amounting to 20 % to 100 % (upon agreement with our customer).

Level of difficulty

The texts are classified according to the following levels of difficulty:

• Simple texts
  Private documents, general private correspondence, simple commercial texts, and texts that do not contain special terms from the fields of economy, engineering, law, medicine and the like
• Texts of medium difficulty
  Texts containing generally known special terms, economic texts, technical and legal texts, simple agreements, notary documents, manuals
• Texts of high difficulty
  Advertising texts, literature, medical texts, instructions for use, scientific and difficult technical texts.

We reserve the right to classify a text with one of the above levels (upon agreement with our customer).

Time-consuming formatting (such as tables etc.) will be made upon request, but separately charged according to expenditure.
